In 2025, I partnered with Intercom for a nine-month engagement to architect and deliver a comprehensive Product Animation System. This initiative was designed to establish a unified motion language that could be deployed at a large scale across both the Intercom and Fin product ecosystems.
Working very closely with the Product Marketing, Product Design, Web Design and Engineering teams, we created an extensive library of cohesive assets. Through using the Rive animation and run-time software, the full collection of product-accurate animations remained incredibly lightweight. This ensured that even with a large-scale rollout across high-traffic marketing sites, we maintained optimal load speeds without compromising on visual fidelity.
This systematic approach aided in transforming how Intercom's web product marketing brought to life its product in real-time, replacing static imagery with a dynamic, scalable, and synchronized animation system that bridges the gap between marketing narrative and actual product experience.
